Full story
Whittington Health are implementing the new Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) between now and the end of March.
This will mean the Trust has greater control over how it investigates, responds too, and learns from patient safety incidents to maximise learning, improvement and reduce risk.
The PSIRF replaces the current national Serious Incident Framework (SIF). Whittington Health are implementing the new National patient Safety Incident Response Framework.
As part of our transition to the PSIRF the Trust have produced two documents, a PSRIF Policy and a PSIRF Plan (PSIRP) which detail what will change, why, and how it will work in practice. We would very much welcome your views on these documents before they are finalised and rolled out across the organisation.
Please provide any comments or feedback by email to our PSIRF Project Lead, Richard Matthews, richard.matthews8@nhs.net by 11:59pm on Wednesday 6 March 2024.
