Workforce Medical Race Equality Standard (MWRES)
The MWRES builds on the work from the Workforce Race Equality Standard, recognising that medical staff (doctors and consultants) have different experiences and outcomes compared to the general workforce.
The MWRES has specific indicators related to medical staff's employment journey. All Trusts were invited to submit data for this standard in the summer of 2023.
The Trust created a Lead for MWRES role to support this work, specifically looking at ways to improve conditions for international medical graduates (IMG); for further information about this work, please see the IMG page.
