Books/eBooks on our shared online library catalogue Koha:

You can find and reserve print books, and access ebooks, using the London Health Libraries online catalogue, Koha. This is shared by St Ann’s Hospital Library, Whittington Health Library, and the libraries of 15 other NHS Trusts from across London, giving you access to their collections. For ebooks, you will need your NHS OpenAthens username and password to access their content. To borrow print books you will need to join St Ann’s Hospital Library (for NLFT North/Barnet, Enfield and Hariney staff) or Whittington Health Library (for NLFT South/Camden and Islington, Whittington Health, NCL primary care staff).

Oxford Handbooks available as ebooks for nurses and allied health professionals:

Until July 2025, you can go to Oxford University Press website, log-in with your NHS OpenAthens username and password, and search by title to access 100s of specialty specific titles online, or more general texts, like “The Oxford Handbook of Clinical and Healthcare Research”.
