You can find and reserve print books, and access ebooks, using the London Health Libraries online catalogue, Koha. This is shared by St Ann’s Hospital Library, Whittington Health Library, and the libraries of 15 other NHS Trusts from across London, giving you access to their collections. For ebooks, you will need your NHS OpenAthens username and password to access their content. To borrow print books you will need to join St Ann’s Hospital Library (for NLFT staff) or Whittington Health Library (for Whittington Health, NCL primary care staff).

The Allied and Complementary Medicine Database (AMED) is a bibliographic database covering a selection of journals in complementary medicine, palliative care, and several professions allied to medicine.
Coverage: 1985 to present
EMCARE covers all nursing specialties and nursing healthcare professions. Includes international coverage of allied health, education and training, development and management, midwifery, health and healthcare economics, clinical medical and healthcare social work, psychiatry and mental health, and traumatology, emergency and critical-care medicine.

BMJ Best Practice is freely available to ALL NHS staff via The NHS Knowledge and Library Hub or at the BMJ Best Practice website. Is it also available as an app.
Dynamed is available to NLFT staff (ask St Ann's Hospital Library staff for more info: nlft.library@nhs.net/ 020 8702 3785).
UpToDate is available to Whittington Health staff (ask Whittington Health Library staff for more info).
SPSS Statistics software
We have the latest version of SPSS Statistics software on one of our PCs. This is available for all Whittington staff to use for their research projects. Please contact us on whl@nhs.net if you would like to book this PC. Free online training from IBM is available to Whittington staff who want to learn to use this resource.

OTseeker database contains abstracts of systematic reviews, randomised controlled trials and other resources relevant to occupational therapy interventions. Research evidence is retrieved from over 1,000 different journals and numerous bibliographic databases.
A free database of over 43,000 randomised trials, systematic reviews and clinical practice guidelines in physiotherapy. For each trial, review or guideline, PEDro provides the citation details, the abstract and a link to the full text, where possible.
