Routine Skin and Nail Conditions
Where there is a medical need, we provide routine care for corns, callus and onychauxic (thickened) nails. It is important to note that many routine skin and nail pathologies can be managed effectively without the need to visit a podiatrist.
Please see our advice leaflets on self-managing if you think you are experiencing pain due to corns or callus. Where your feet would be considered ‘at risk’ for example if you have diabetes and have been advised by a podiatrist or health care professional that your feet are moderate or high risk, if you suffer from Rheumatoid arthritis or peripheral vascular you should seek advice from a professional before self-treating.
